MY VISUAL EXPRESSION

I take photgraphs to look at things in the world for the purpose of finding visual images that may convey an idea, a thought or a feeling, or that may prompt the viewer to generate his or her own reaction to a photograph in these ways or others.

My photos come from things I see that are either naturally and/or human made. I don't limit myself too strictly to any particular subject matter. I must say I do prefer to take photos outdoors under natural lighting.

There are amazing things in the world, and I never seem to tire of being amazed. It's very inspirational.

I don't constantly work on a particular theme all of the time, but I sometimes enjoy working on a specific theme or with specific subject matter for an unspecified length of time. I do like to explore certain things at certain times, wherever inspiration is found. Sometimes inspiration occurs unexpectedly.

What I would really like to do is to learn to make large, high quality photographs in montone. The best way, I believe, to achieve this is to spend dedicated time in the field.

Making quality photographs is a process of trial in the field, success and failure. These factors are all-important to learning, discovering and reaching the desired goals.

I plan to share some of my photos with others, especially if they ask me to do so. My own artisitc satisfaction is very important to me, but sharing my work with others is also enjoyable, for me, and hopefully for them.
